Picked my dad up at the airport tonight.  Upon walking out of the parking garage I immediately saw a guy with this t-shirt:

I wanted to say, “Me too… I hope.”

Separate note: the international terminal should advertise itself as “people-watching on steroids.”  I almost wished my dad didn’t arrive as soon as he did.  More time to just observe.

Understanding the Credit Crisis

I highly recommend that anyone who has had difficulty understanding the credit crisis, sub-prime mortgage thing, etc. check out the May 9 episode of This American Life, entitled “The Giant Pool of Money”.  Some people speak “economy-ese” with ease.  I’m not one of those people.  Thus, episodes such as this are incredibly helpful.
